I passed my driving test yesterday. All credit to Zaib, my driving instructor. Zaib is a driving instructor who teaches with passion, love for his pupils and enjoys what he is doing. Zaib is very patient, knowledgeable and will tailor your lessons base on your learning needs. Most especially, he will create time for you and very flexible with scheduling just to meet the needs of his pupils. I will strongly recommend Zaib for anyone who needs to get on the wheels .

Kamel is an amazing driving instructor. Very patient and has a love for his job. Would definitely recommend!

I have been taking driving lessons with Ali, would highly recommend him. After having lessons with previous people. Ali helped me understand all aspects of driving and he was clear in explaining things to me. Really easy going & friendly.

I had a really positive experience with Gears Driving School. My main instructors were Adam and later Aroon, and both were great to learn from. They were patient, supportive, and always made sure I felt comfortable during lessons.

What I appreciated most is that they didn’t just teach the basics to pass the test, they taught everything by the book and even went beyond that, which made me feel much more confident as a driver. They also worked at my pace and explained things in a way that actually made sense, so I never felt rushed or overwhelmed.

Thanks to their teaching, I passed my driving test with only 2 minors, which I’m really happy about. I’d definitely recommend Gears Driving School to anyone looking for thorough and supportive driving instructors.

Deep is an incredible instructor and honestly just a great guy to learn from. I was surprised by how quickly he got me through the basics—he has a way of explaining things that just clicks. He’s also the most patient person I’ve met; no matter what happens on the road, he stays completely calm and never gets frustrated or angry. He’s always on time for lessons, too. Deep has been an outstanding driving instructor for my daughter Amber. From the very first lesson, his calm, patient, and reassuring approach put her completely at ease. He explains everything in a clear and easy-to-understand way, taking the time to make sure she fully understands each skill before moving on.

What really stands out is his professionalism, reliability, and genuine commitment. He is always punctual, well-prepared, and incredibly encouraging, which has made a huge difference to my daughters confidence behind the wheel. Even when she feels unsure, he remains supportive and positive, helping her stay motivated and focused.

Amber is making fantastic progress thanks to his guidance and now feels much more confident and capable when driving. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of his teaching, and I would highly recommend Deep to anyone looking for a highly skilled, trustworthy, and dedicated driving instructor.

I’ve recently started lesson with Yogesh, I’ve been thinking of doing lessons for sometime, but know I get anxious and get my left and right mixed up.

From my first lessons Yogesh has been amazing his patience and incredible skill as a teacher, immediately put me at ease.

I really think his teaching style supports students in not just how to do each maneuver, step by step, but why, he then always focuses on the positive aspects,of what you’ve done, while also saying what would perfect it and how.

It gives you confidence, understanding and enables you to do better., in that you know what to to, why and the impact of what your doing has on your experience and on others on the road

He is also understanding and flexible as work and home life can get in the way of pre planned lessons

I really feel like I can do this and do it well and safely, which is down to Yogesh’s style and patience as a teacher.

I am so glad I chose Gears dring school and got Yogesh as my instructor.

Brilliant instructor, I had previous lessons with another instructor but I struggled to learn from him. I found learning from Zaib more positive and fun.

He is definetly the kind of instructor I needed as a beginner. Zaib is an amazing teacher with clear instructions and knowleageble. He gives you responsibility gradually being careful not to overburden you with information. Learning is full of fun with him. I look forward to passing my test in the near future with him.

By far the best Instructer i have come across in Nottingham. Competitive prices and was able to quickly recognise i had been behind the wheel previously which allowed for lessons to be sped up and for the while journey from first lesson to receiving my certification to be under 2 months (would have been less but unfortunately ill health meant i had to cancel a lesson or two). Would highly recommend! I have tried over 5/6 Instructers in nottingham including Bill plant and to put it gently they are sh*t (pardon my french)

I passed first time with few minor faults. I cannot recommend my My instructor Aroon, highly enough.

I was a nervous student and was fortunate to find Aroon an exceptional teacher. He pushed me when I needed to be pushed, praised when I needed praise. He did everything he could to guide me through the test , and went the extra mile to help on that day as he’d done throughout my learning. Aroon takes a genuine interest in his students, and a real pride in their progression. You’ll be in the safest of hands. I was with and instructor for 4 months, but I noticed I wasn’t making any progress. I practiced with Aroon for just 3 weeks and knew I was ready for test.
